Ingredients

  • 500 g beef sirloin, sliced thinly
  • 1 can DOLE Pineapple Tidbits, 227g
  • 12 cup light soy sauce
  • 1 pc lemon, juiced and zest
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 big potato, sliced
  • 1 large white onion, sliced
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed

Procedure

  1. In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, lemon juice and pepper. Mix well. Marinate beef in the mixture for at least 1 hour. 
  2. In a non-stick pan, heat oil. Saute onion slices until it's a little bit caramelized. Set aside.
  3. In the same pan, fry beef until light brown. Remove beef and set aside. 
  4. In the same pan, saute garlic for a minute. Fry the potatoes. Add marinade and simmer for 10 minutes in very low heat.
  5. Add DOLE Pineapple Tidbits and wait until it simmers. Add in beef and onions and cook for a minute. Turn off heat.
  6. Serve with steamed rice
